Social Welfare Officer for the Social Administration's Processing Unit

About the position

Your assignment will mainly involve authority exercise towards the elderly target group. You will be part of an engaged unit where we work together with the individual in focus, develop through continuous learning, and contribute to creating good conditions for those we serve.

Job Responsibilities

As a Social Welfare Officer, you will:

  • Investigate, assess, make decisions, and follow up on interventions according to the Social Services Act.
  • Work preventively and closely with a cross-professional team.
  • Maintain continuous contact with both internal and external partners.
  • Provide information, support, and service to residents, relatives, and other stakeholders.
  • Document in accordance with applicable legislation and guidelines.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A degree in social work or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Experience in authority exercise.
  • The ability to express yourself clearly and structured both in speech and writing.
  • A valid driver's license (B) is required.

Employment conditions

Scope:

  • Full-time, fixed-term employment for 6 months.
  • Start date by agreement.
  • Trust-based working hours, with the possibility of some remote work.
